Abstract

Rad istražuje tipografiju kao likovni element dizajna. Obrađuje primjere na kojima se tipografija koristi kao ilustracijski element. Također obrađuje proces ilustriranja kroz korištenje standardnih tipografskih alata poput veličine i jačine fonta, poravnanja, proreda, boje fonta, smjera, oblikovanja fonta prema obliku, razmaka među slovnim znakovima, i slično. Isto tako, cilj je postaviti definicije osnovnih tipografskih alata, te pokazati na primjerima kako ih je moguće implementirati u proces oblikovanja, ne samo kao alate koji olakšavaju čitljivost i koji doprinose ukupnom dojmu, već i kao zasebne alate koji mogu dati vrhunske rezultate pri oblikovanju.

Abstract in english:	The work is investigating typography as an artistic element in graphic design. It processes examples on which typography is being used as an illustrative element. Also it examines the process of illustrating through standard typographic tools, like font size and weight, alignment, ledding, font color, direction, shaped text, letterspacing/tracking and so on. The goal is to set definitions of basic typography tools, and show on examples how they can be integrated in to designing process, not only as tools that can improve legibility and all together impression, but as a self standing tool that can give excellent results for themselves in design process.
