Abstract

U ovom radu želim pokazati važnost dobro odabrane kombinacije ilustracije i tipografije u stvaranju slikovnice jer je slikovnica prvo s čime se djete susreće te ju pamti kroz ostatak svog života. Uz nju može puno toga naučiti i sigurno je ona ta koja jednim malim djelom utjeće na neka slijedeća razmišljanja djeteta u nadolazećoj budućnosti. Primjena ilustracije i tipografije za slikovnicu znači prilagodba tih elemenata namijenjenom uzrastu. Uspješan dizajn rezultirat će gotovim proizvodom koji je maštovito osmišljen, koji svojim sadržajem informira djete, i koji je dovoljno upečatljiv i unikatan. Može biti informativana, zabavna, smirujuća, izazovna, nadahnjujuća, utješujuća i vesela. Ukratko, slikovnica djetetu moze postati prijatelj.

Abstract in english:	In this paper I want to demonstrate the importance of well‐chosen combination of illustrations and typography to create a picture book because it is the first thing that child see and with which the child encounters, and what remembers the rest of his life. In addition it can be a lot to learn and certainly it is one that affects a small part to some of the following considerations of the child in the coming future. Use of illustrations and typography of a book means the adjustment of these elements is intended age. A successful design will result in a finished product that is imaginatively designed, which by its content informs the child, and that is sufficiently distinct and unique. It can be informative, fun, calming, challenging, inspiring, comforting and cheerful. In short, picture book can become a friend to a child.
