Abstract

Abstract in english: This paper displays research results on how the concentration of liquid toner (ElectroInk) in indirect electrographic printing, affects the efficiency of recycling prints. Mechanism of deinking process in relation to the characteristics of substrates used in printing is being discussed. Scientificaly, this paper is a contribution to the clarification of the deinking mechanism compared to the concentration of liquid toner in combination with coated and uncoated printing substrate. There was a nearly linear relationship between concentration of ElectroInk and the number of particles, and the same is with the size of area that they occupy on the laboratory sheet made of fibers after recycling prints on uncoated paper. Such a relationship was not found when it comes to coated printing substrate.
