Abstract

Lik je bilo koja osoba, persona, identitet ili entitet koji egzistira u umjetnosti, u cijelosti fikcionalan ili baziran na stvarnim povijesnim entitetima. Dizajn lika vizualni je identitet lika, a predstavlja njihovu temeljnu karakteristiku, element koji ih nerijetko i obilježuje te određuje njegovu dopadljivost i pamtljivost od strane publike. On obuhvada osmišljavanje kompletnog izgleda lika, od grube tjelesne konstrukcije do najsitinijih detalja. Glavni problem ovog istraživanja provedenog na prostorima grada Zagreba je utjecaj dizajna lika na publiku, a samo istraživanje sastoji se od anketnih pitanja u dva dijela: provjera upudenosti ispitanika u sam termin dizajna likova te poznavanje likova i evaluacija njihovih karakteristika i izgleda (asocijacije). Kao uzorak uzeta je urbana i obrazovana mlada populacija od 20 do 30 godina, njih 39. Nakon provedenog istraživanja, prikupljeni podaci su statistički obrađeni.

Abstract in english: A character is any person, persona, identity or entity that exists in arts, completely ficitional or based upon real historical entities. Character design represents a visual identity of a character, their crucial characteristic, an element which often labels them and determines their likeability and memorability from the side of the audience. It includes the appearance of the character from rough bodily constructions to tiniest details. The main problem of this research conducted in the area of the city of Zagreb is the impact of character design on the audience, and the research alone is assembled out of two parts: checking the research participants familiarity with the term of character design, recognition of the characters and evaluation of their characterstics and appearance (associations). 39 people, a part of the urban and educated young population, aged 20-30 years, were taken as a sample. After the conducted research, the data was statistically processed.
