Abstract

Portable Document Format ( pdf ) je format zapisa koji je danas općeprihvaćen u pripremi svih dokumenata uključujući i brošuru. Svaki pdf-dokument sadrži kompletan opis dokumenta, uključujući slike, tekst, vektorsku grafiku, rasterske slike, te može sadržavati i fontove potrebne za prikaz teksta.Format je zasnovan na jeziku PostScript. PostScript se obično upotrebljava kako bi se opisao izgled stranice te da se prebaci u izlazni format. PostScript može kodirati sve elemente dokumenta uključujući tekst, grafike i slike. Ime dokumenta (datoteke) obično završava s .pdf. Pdf se upotrebljava za opisivanje dokumenata, dok PostScript sadrži cijeli programski jezik kao što je BASIC ili FROTRAN s kojim programer može napraviti različite aplikacije i programe. Takav format je zahvaljujući pouzdanosti postao standard u pripremi grafičkih proizvoda.

Abstract in english:	Portable Document Format (PDF) that is now generally accepted in the preparation of all documents, including a brochure. Each PDF document contains a complete description of a the document, including images, text, vector graphic, raster images, and can contain the fonts required for display of the text. Format is based on the PostScript language. PostScript is generally used to describe page layout and to switch the output format. PostScript can encrypt all document elements including text, graphics and images. The name of the document (file ) usually ends with .Pdf. PDF is used to describe documents, but contains all the PostScript programming language like BASIC or FORTRAN with which a developer can make a variety of applications and programs. This format due to its reliability has become a standard in the preparation of printed products
