Abstract

HTML5 i CSS3 su najnovije verzije HTML i CSS tehnologije. Iako niti jedna još nije objavljena u potpunosti, obje ove verzije već sada donose pregršt novih i inovativnih mogućnosti u razvoju web stranica, pogotovo u podruĉju multimedije. Ovaj rad na praktiĉan naĉin kroz projekt izrade multimedijalnog web sjedišta imaginarnog rock kluba istražuje te mogućnosti, ponegdje uz primjenu jQuery plugina radi povećanja funkcionalnosti i vizualnog dojma. Osim toga, ovaj rad na konkretnim primjerima demonstrira konkurentnost HTML5 i CSS3 tehnologija naspram ostalih tehnologija koje su prije pojave HTML5 i CSS3 dominirale poljem multimedije na internetu, a to je prvenstveno Flash.

Abstract in english:	HTML5 and CSS3 are the latest versions of HTML and CSS technology. Even though none of them has been fully published yet, a large amount of new and futuristic features is already available for both HTML5 and CSS3, especially in the field of multimedia. This thesis explores those features by doing a project of developing a multimedia web site of an imaginary rock club, using jQuery in some parts to improve the functionality and visual appearance of the site. Also, this thesis uses specific examples to demonstrate the competitiveness between these technologies and those that are dominating the field of online multimedia, which is mostly Flash technology.
