Abstract

Ispitivana je sorpcija kationskog bojila malahit zelene iz vodenih otopina na biosorbens koru limuna. Mijenjana je masa sorbensa kako bi se ispitao njezin utjecaj na kapacitet sorpcije. Određene su ravnotežne izoterme sorpcije a eksperimentalni podaci su analizirani uporabom Langmuirove, Freundlichove, Tempkinove i Dubinin- Radushkevichove jednadžbe. Regresijski korelacijski koeficijenti R2 pokazuju da u usporedbi s ostalim modelima, Langmuirov model najbolje opisuje sorpciju bojila. Na osnovi R2 vrijednosti, red najboljeg slaganja linearnih izotermi s eksperimentalnim podacima je Langmuir > Freundlich > Tempkin > Dubinin-Radushkevich model.

Abstract in english: The subject of analysis was the sorption of malachite green, a cationic dye, from aqueous solutions onto lemon peel. The mass of the sorbent was varied to check its effect on the sorption capacity. Equilibrium sorption isotherms were determined and experimental data analysed by means of Langmuir, Freundlich, Tempkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich equations. The regression correlation coefficients R2 indicate that the Langmuir model is superior to the other models in representing the sorption of the dye. On the basis of R2 value, the best-fit line of the linear isotherms and the experimental data was the Langmuir > Freundlich > Tempkin > Dubinin- Radushkevich model.
