Abstract

Tehnološki razvoj je prepoznao primjenljivost 3D modela i općenito 3D grafike, pa se danas koristi u mnoštvu različitih polja i primjena. Filmska industrija koristi 3D tehnologiju da bi dodala virtualne likove i objekte i na taj način stvorila proširenu stvarnost. Novim računalnim metodama se stvara digitalna scenografija koji se sa suvremenom multimedijskom tehnologijom ostvaruje pomoću računala i složenih programskih alata. Sa time je 3D grafika prihvaćena kao vrlo jednostavan i produktivan način reprezentacije i virtualizacije objekata i procesa. Ovaj rad obrađuje teoretske i tehnološke osnove sa analizom alata i postupaka 3D modeliranja u kreativnom radu. Sagledava svojstva i značajke raznih postupaka i alata te konkretnim primjerom stvaranja modela skulpture o Tesli ostvaruje praktičnu primljenu. Stvoreni model se isprintao na 3D printeru i tako se virtualnim modeliranjem objektivizirao u realno tijelo. Sagledane su sve faze u postupku realizacije i dat je cjeloviti prikaz izvedbe.

Abstract in english: The applicability of 3D models and 2D graphics in general has been recognized by the technological development, and it is in many various fields. Movie industriy uses 3D technology to add virtual objects and characters to make an expanded reality. New computer techniques are used for making digital scenography which is, along with modern multimedia technology, created by complex software tools. This allows 3D graphics to be accepted as very simple and productive way of representating and virtualizating objects and processes. This paper works with teoretical and technological basics along with tool analysis and 3D modeling procedures in creative work. It examines performances and features of various tools and procedures and accomplishes practical usage on Tesla's sculpture through concrete examples. Created model has been printed on a 3D printer which has made it possible to objectify the sculpture from virtual model to real object. All phases of realization procedure have been analyzed and and full review of making the statue has been given.
