Abstract

Abstract in english: In this work it has been described occurrence of „bleeding“ colors on the paper printing substrate. It appears because of few factors and the main factors are: InkJet printing technique, type of the paper which is used as printing substrate and color for InkJet. Thermal InkJet, which was used for the experiment in this work, creates the picture by throwing droplets of color through the nozzles what means that droplets have specific speed when they crash into the paper surface because of what color easier spreads through the paper substrate. In the end, there is a printing substrate, paper, which consists cellulose fibers between which there is a certain part of free space (mostly it is printed on the universal writing paper which has that properties) where color then spreads and it gets to the „bleeding“. Depending on the substrate, we have different stages of color spreading, so it is the most expressed by universal writing paper, then by the paper made specifically for the InkJet printing, then follow glossy paper and the best results give semi-gloss photographic paper. This occurrence of color „bleeding“ is negative and depending on it's stage, we can make a difference between better and worse quality prints- if „bleeding“ is too expressed.
