Abstract

Time-lapse fotografija je tehnika koja bilježi scenu ili objekt koji se sporo mijenja i pretvara ga u video s većom brzinom pokreta. Pojedinačnom fotografijom prikazuje se samo jedan trenutak, dok se pomoću time-lapse fotografije prikazuje kompletna scena u nekom vremenskom periodu. U teorijskom dijelu opisat će se povijesni razvoj time-lapse fotografije, tehnika fotografiranja i potrebna oprema. Također će se napraviti usporedba sličnosti i razlika, kao i prednosti i nedostataka time-lapse fotografije u odnosu na snimanje video kamerom. U eksperimentalnom dijelu opisat će se korištena oprema, način na koji je izrađen time-lapse video i analizirat će se rezultati dobiveni upotrebom različitih vremenskih intervala. Radom će se pokazati da fotografija ima veliku ulogu u digitalnim medijima, da su postupci izrade takve vrste fotografija jednostavniji nego prije, a kreativni učinci puno veći. Time-lapse fotografija upotrebljava se u komercijalne svrhe ili kao način umjetničkog izražavanja. Budući da se time-lapse fotografija češće koristi u umjetničkom izražavanju, dio rada obrađivat će i to područje.

Abstract in english:	Time-lapse photography is a technique that captures a scene or object that is changing slowly, and turns it into a video with high speed movement. Individual images display only a moment in time, while using time-lapse photography shows the complete scene in a longer period. The theoretical part will describe the historical development of time-lapse photography, photographic techniques and equipment needed. It will also make a comparison of similarities and differences, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of time-lapse photography in relation to a recording video camera. In the experimental part it will be described which equipment was used, what procedure of making time-lapse was used and the results obtained by using different time intervals will be analyzed. The work will prove that photography has a major role in digital media, that making this kind of photography is now easier than before, and has a lot more creative effect. Time-lapse photography is used for commercial purposes or as a means of artistic expression. Since the time-lapse photography is frequently used in artistic expression, part of the work will cover that area.
