Abstract

Abstract in english: Adjustment of the photopolymer printing forms to match new qualitative requirements includes consideration of the basic parameters in the digital printing form plate making processes (CtP, Computer to Plate), which are necessary for achieving high-quality prints in flexographic printing process. Flexographic printing technique is widely used in the packaging reproduction area and is characterized by flexible and elastic printing forms and low viscosity printing ink that makes it suitable for printing on almost any printing surface. The aim of this research is to expand the knowledge about the photopolymer printing form procedure and their processing which have the main influence on the quality level of the forms. It is well known that the flexibility of the printing forms and deformations that occur during the reproduction process are considered to be the technological limitations of this technique. Base on that fact, the reasons and consequences of those deviations have to be defined and explained. The limitations are mainly defined through the reproduction of tones which are the consequence of the flexibility of printing forms and the pressure during the printing process. This work will present the model for adjustment of the process procedures of photopolymer printing forms in order to achieve optimal reproduction results. The results have shown the necessity of creation of the closed reproduction systems which include three different segments: printing form, printing system and the printing substrate.
