Abstract
Tema diplomskog rada je razvoj interaktivne web aplikacije bazirane na SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) tehnologiji prilagođene za stolne i mobilne uređaje. U razvoju takve aplikacije korištene su glavne prednosti SVG tehnologije, poput podrške u svim modernim preglednicima, njegove vektorske skalabilnosti, interaktivnosti i animacije. Koristi se za grafički dizajn i stilizaciju predmeta i okoline, te za animaciju pokreta u samoj aplikaciji. Uz SVG, aplikacija koristi i Javascript jezik za omogućavanje interatkivnosti i kontrole nad dijelovima aplikacije. U tu svrhu će se koristiti Javascript biblioteka za izradu web stranica i aplikacija – jQuery. Aplikacija je jednostavna 2D aplikacija s fokusom na sam programerski, odnosno koderski aspekt te na prilagođavanje najzastupljenijim modernim preglednicima, bez obzira na operativni sustav i stolnu ili mobilnu platformu, s ciljem demonstriranja korištenja SVG-a. Teoretski dio rada sadrži sam kod podijeljen na cjeline po tehnologijama te djelovima aplikacije, opis procesa i postupke izrade aplikacije u SVG i Javascript jeziku. Također sadrži alternativne metode postizanja željenih rezultata, odnosno usporedbu s ostalim srodnim tehnologijama.

Abstract in english: | The topic of the thesis is the development of an interactive web application based on SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) technology, adjusted for desktop and mobile devices. The basic advantages of SVG technology are used during the development of the application, such as support for SVG in all modern web browsers, SVG's vector scalability, interaction and animations. It is used for graphic design, stilization of objects and their surroundings and for the animation of movement featured in the application. Beside SVG, the application uses Javascript language to enable interactivity, and control parts of the application. Jquery – a Javascript library for creating web sites and applications will be used for that purpose. The application is a simple 2D application with a focus on programming, and the coding aspect of it, and on the adaptation to the most widely used modern web browsers, regardless of the operating system, desktop or mobile device, with a goal of demonstrating the use of SVG. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the code itself divided into seperate parts by technology it refers to and by parts of the application, a description of processes and methods of developing the application in SVG and Javascript. It also contains alternative methods of getting the desired results and a comparison with other related technologies. |
