Abstract

U ovom radu naglasak je na dvodimenzionalnim kodovima PDF417, Data Matrix i Microsoft tag te su u radu projektirani, planirani i dizajnirani kodovi koji su elementi vizualnog identiteta grafičkog proizvoda. Takvi kodovi postaju nosioci vizualne poruke, štite sam proizvod i omogućavaju automatsko čitanje velike količine podataka. U radu je uz detaljan opis svakog koda opisan i način na koji nastaju te koliku količinu podataka mogu pohraniti i u koju se svrhu koriste. Opisan je i način na koji se podatci kodiraju kako bismo dobili željeni kod, te takoĎer o vrsti informacija, odnosno znakova koja se može kodirati. PDF417, Data Matrix te Microsoft Tag su kodovi koji sadrže posebne referentne točke koje pomažu pri lociranju i orijentaciji koda. Svaki od dvodimenzionalnih kodova može podnijeti odreĎene promjene do kojih dolazi uslijed primjene dizajna u kojem će se kod koristiti, promjene boje pozadine i pročelja koda što može rezultirati gubitkom informacija u kodu. Kako bi se prikazala upotreba 2D kodova u grafičkoj industriji za ovaj rad generirani su navedeni kodovi te je projektirana grafika u pozadini i pročelju, modificirana je struktura grafičkih elemenata unutar koda, oblici, boje, simboli te je njihova primjena prikazana na grafičkom proizvodu kao što je ambalaža. Čitljivost je testirana putem barcode čitača te putem optičkih čitača i-nigma, Neo Reader i Microsoft Tag čitača.

Abstract in english: The paper points out the two-dimensional codes, PDF417, DataMatrix, Microsoft Tag code which are designed to combine with many graphic products. The designed codes are part of the visual identity. Such codes are carriers of visual messages, they protect the product and enable automatic reading of large amounts of data. In this paper, each code is described in detail like the way in which they are produced and how much amount of data can be stored and for what purpose are they used. The way in which the data is encoded in order to obtain the desired code is also described, and also the type of information and signs that can be encoded. PDF417, DataMatrix and Microsoft Tag are codes that contain specific reference points that help in locating orientation of the code. Each of the twodimensional codes can handle certain changes that occur due to the designs which will be in use, like change of the background color and the facade of code which can result in loss of information in the code. To demonstrate the use of 2D codes in the printing industry codes are generated and their background and front are designed,also the structure of the graphical elements within the code is modified, forms, colors, symbols, and their application will be displayed on the graphic product as the packaging. Readability is tested via barcode reader and by optical readers i-nigma, Neo Reader, and Microsoft Tag reader.
