Abstract

Danas, kada mobilni uređaji postaju sve prisutniji kao platforma za pristup internetu, neophodno je uzeti u obzir kako web stranice prilagoditi za prikaz na tim uređajima. Potrebno je obratiti posebnu pažnju na dostupne tehnologije i koncepte izrade stranica prilagođenih mobilnim uređajima, kao i njihove prednosti i mane. Iako je danas još uvijek velika većina web stranica prilagođena isključivo za prikaz na stolnim računalima, zahtjevi tržišta nameću potrebu da internet stranice prilagođene mobilnim uređajima postanu standard na webu. Već sada postoje različiti koncepti izrade web stranica prilagođenih mobilnim uređajima kao što su fluidan, responzivan ili adaptivan dizajn, te je neophodno poznavanje osnovnih principa na koje se oni oslanjaju kako bi smo ih mogli uspješno implementirati u web stranice. U teoretskom dijelu rada opisane su WEB tehnologije kao što su HTML5 i CSS3, kao nadolazeći standardi na webu, te njihov utjecaj na izradu web stranica prilagođenih mobilnim uređajima. Također uz same tehnologije izrade web stranica, opisani su i razni koncepti izrade web stranica prilagođenih mobilnim uređajima, dok je tematika rada malo detaljnije usmjerena na izradu responzivnih web stranica. Praktični dio rada na konkretnom primjeru web stranice pokazuje razlike između standardne te responzivne web stranice.

Abstract in english:	Today, when mobile devices are becoming increasingly common as a platform for accessing the Internet, it is necessary to consider how to adapt websites to display on these devices. It is necessary to pay special attention on available technologies and concepts to create mobile website as well as their advantages and disadvantages. Although today the vast majority of websites are still designed exclusively for viewing on desktop computers, demands of the market necessitate that the mobile version of website become standard on the web. There are already different concepts to create mobile websites such as fluid, responsive and adaptive design, and it is necessary to know the basic principles on which they rely in order to be able successfully implement them in website. Theoretical part of the thesis briefly covers web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 as upcoming standards on the Web and their impact on the development of mobile web pages. Also along with technologies for building websites, it describes various concepts of mobile web pages, while focusing more on making of responsive web page. Practical part of the thesis shows differences between standard and responsive web page on a concrete example of one web site.
