Abstract

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je crno-bijela fotografija, sa naglaskom na low key fotografiju, odnosno fotografiju na kojoj prevladavaju tamni tonovi. Ukratko će biti objašnjene osnove kolor fotografije kako bi se bolje opisala razlika između ove dvije tehnike fotografiranja, kao što je modulacija tonova. Naime, i kolor fotografija kao i crno-bijela fotografija koristi tonove, ali mogućnost njihove modulacije i utjecaja na njih je bitno veća u crno-bijeloj fotografiji zbog čega se o crno-bijeloj fotografiji vrlo često govori kao o umjetnosti svjetla i sjene. Crno-bijela fotografija može biti jedan od najizazovnijih načina predstavljanja prizora. Ako o boji razmišljamo kao o načinu da se snimi prizor, o crno-bijelom onda možemo razmišljati kao o načinu kako interpretirati taj prizor. O fotografovoj vještini ovisi kako će predočiti njegovu strukturu, tonalitet i kompoziciju. U praktičnom dijelu biti će prikazane autorske fotografije.

Abstract in english:	Subject of this thesis is the black and white photography with an emphasis on low-key image or photograph dominated by dark tones. Will briefly be explained basics of color photography in order to better describe the difference between these two techniques of photography, such as modulation tones. Namely, color photography and black-and-white photography using tones, but the possibility of their modulation and the impact on them is significantly higher in the black and white photograph which is why the black-and-white photography is often referred to as the art of light and shadow. Black and and white photography can be one of the most challenging ways of presenting the scene. If you think about the color as a way to record the scene, the black and white, then we can consider as a way to interpret the scene. A photographer skill depends how shall present its structure, tonality and composition. In the practical part will focus on artistic photography.
