Abstract

Abstract in english: | For reproduction to have high quality it is necessary to add special printing colours to standard CMYK colours. One of digital printing techniques which can achieve high level of precision is electrophotography with liquid toner. Special colours witch are usually add are orange and violet (IndiChrome print), because there reproduction is the worst from standard CMYK colours. The study shows how ultraviolet radiation (UV) effects on constancy of colour gamut. It will be conceived as accelerated ageing same print in time intervals of 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 160 and 244 hour. The resulting colour changes are detected using a colorimetric measurement. Reproduction quality is also affected by printing substrate. For this reason are used two typical printing substrates: fine art paper Gloss Mango star and natural (offset) paper Maxio set. In colorimetric measurements is palpable that longer intervals of ageing prints will lose their properties. For the analysed tones they are not equal. Thus, the most varied full tone is purple dye ΔE100% = 21.58 while the least changing full tone is cyan (ΔE100% = 1.85). Screened tones behave similarly, and the best result of all screened tones has 80% tone value cyan (ΔE80% = 2.25), and the worst 80% tone value purple containing (ΔE80% = 24.30). |
