Abstract

Abstract in english: Packaging products are, at the moment, one of the most common in graphic industry. Folding cardboard boxes are mostly used in food and pharmaceutical industry. This graphic product has to meet most demanding standards in mechanical and visual quality. Because of the these standards offset technology is used in production. Printing substrate and colours are very important parts in that process. In this thesis modern process which uses bio carboard (made out of adriatic algees) an cardboars based on one year plants is studied. They are all compared in relations to standard shiny coated carboard which is most used in this industry. Trend of using new, eco friendly, diyes influences greatly on final results of color reproduction. These are diyes which have increased pigmentation and reduced amount of mineral oils. Analysys of mentioned paper and graphic colours gave us correction filters which are intended to enhance qualtiy of the final product and make it more attractive to potential user. The largest gamut reproduction was achieved on a standard cardboard Kromopak with Express ink (V = 769.934). Best gamut of ecological paper realized the Echo card with Diamond ink (V = 300.647). Worst playback range was achieved on Alga Carta cardboard with Diamond ink (V = 264.177).
