Abstract

Abstract in english: | Color measurement is a standard part of the modern process of the manufacturing of graphic products. Measurement is used to determine the mathematical characteristics of color, and thus enables the exact definition of a certain color, and achievement, as well as confirmation of the expected results. In this study, standard color values and the values of printed colors were compared to determine the deviations from the reference value, or field tolerance. Colors were printed in the classical offset printing technique. For a graphical representation of the measured values three-dimensional color space CIE L*a*b* was used, which was obtained by the difference in colors ΔE*. Since ΔE* represents only a certain number of color deviation, it is necessary to determine the acceptable limits of tolerance. The value of a perfect ΔE* match would be 0, but in a real-life situation, this value is almost impossible to achieve, because many factors affect the color deviation, and in this paper it was shown how values can go beyond the prescribed limits of tolerance, and still be acceptable. |
