Abstract
Na kvalitetu otiska u suvremenoj grafičkoj tehnologiji utječe velik broj čimbenika. Reprodukcija boja putem skenera, monitora, pisača i drugih aplikacija varira iz više razloga. Bez standardnog sustava za upravljanje bojom, rezultati boja su bili neusklađeni između programa i uređaja. Na temelju standardnih vrijednosti moguće je dobiti predvidljiv i ponovljiv rezultat. Da bi se ostvarili ujednačene reprodukcije, visoke kvalitete, u reprodukcijski proces je potrebno ukomponirati upravljanje bojama (color management) sa kalibracijom i izraženim ICC profilima. Profil boje je instaliran svaki put kada je novi uređaj dodan na računalo i taj se profil koristi svaki put kada su boje skenirane, prikazane ili ispisane. Da se informacija o boji točno transferira iz jednoga medija u drugi i da su performanse medija pri tome stabilne, provode se dva postupka standardizacije (kalibracija i karakterizacija). Programska podrška u sustavu upravljanja bojama daje mnoge opcije. Korištenjem sustava za upravljanje bojom, odgovarajućeg hardvera, softvera i metodologije, omogućeno je postizanje željene reprodukcije boja neovisno o korištenom uređaju.

Abstract in english: | Large number of factors affects on the quality of the prints in modern printing technology. Color reproduction through scanners, monitors, printers and other applications varies for many reasons. With no standard color management system, the results would be mismatched in color between applications and devices. Based on the standard values it is possible to get predictable and repeatable results. In order to achieve uniform reproductions with high quality it is necessary to incorporate color management with calibration and ICC profiles. Color profile is installed every time a new device is added to the computer and this profile is used whenever the color is scanned, displayed or printed. For more acucurate transfer of color information from one medium to another and stable performance of the media, there are two standardization procedures conducted (calibration and characterization). Software support in color management provides many options. Using color management systems, appropriate hardware, software and methodology, it is possible to achieve the desired color reproduction regardless of the device. |
