Abstract

Anorganske komponente u papiru dijelom potječu od sirovine ili su posljedica industrijske proizvodnje papira (od dodanih kemikalija, procesne vode, korozije iz korištene opreme). Utječu na pulpu i procese izbjeljivanja pulpe te daljnju obradu, što se u konačnici odraţava na kvalitetu papira i tiska. Stoga ih je potrebno odrediti odabirom odgovarajuće analitičke metode. Odabir uvelike ovisi o elementima ili vrsti koja mora biti odreĎena u uzorku, opremi i ureĎajima koji su dostupni, te o pouzdanosti i točnosti odreĎivanja same metode. Svrha ovog završnog rada je objasniti najčešće instrumentalne analitičke metode koje se danas koriste za odreĎivanje anorganskih komponenata u papiru. Ključne instrumentalne analitičke metode ispitivanja su spektrometrijske (AAS; ICP-MS, XRFS, XPS) i kromatografske (IC).

Abstract in english:	Inorganic components in the paper are partly derived from raw material or they are a result of industrial paper production (from added chemicals, process water, corrosion of the equipment used in the process). They affect on the pulp and the pulp bleaching process and its further processing so ultimately it all reflects on the quality of paper and printing. Therefore it is necessary to determine the selection of appropriate analytical methods. Selection depends on the elements or the type that must be determined in the sample, equipment and instruments that are available, and on the reliability and accuracy of the method itself. The purpose of this final project is to explain the instrumental analytical methods that are most used today for determination od inorganics components in the paper. Most important instrumental analytical test methods are spectroscopic (AAS, ICP-MS, XRFS, XPS) and chromatographic (IC).
