Abstract

Abstract in english: | This article analyzes the world of underwater photography. Underwater photography is a field of photography where many rules and conditions that exist at dry land do not apply. In this article it is approached from a wider perspective, observing the problems surrounding, as well as the challenges. Through history underwater photography was reserved for those with deeper pockets. Today the offer of underwater gear is much broader, including amateur users with ‘’point and shoot’’ waterproof cameras, as well as the professional ones, with a whole range of gear. Standard professional underwater photography equipment includes a housing, strobes, cables, a camera with lenses and arms or clamps. Water by its nature disperses the light, while some wavelengths of light are absorbed more than others. This results in a different color display in the photo, sharpness and contrast. By this article it is understood that the world of underwater photography is full of secrets and possibilities. When approached with respect and quality preparation, it can lead to unexpected results, which are gaining more recognition in graphic design, as well. |
