Abstract
Jedan od faktora koji utječe na kvalitetu otisaka u elektrofotografskom tisku je izbor tonera. Toner temeljen na emulzijskoj agregaciji (EA) više nije dovoljan te se pokazala potreba za izradu novih kolorno izraženijih poliesterskih tonera. U ovom diplomskom radu analizirati će se otisci otisnuti na tri najčešće tiskovne podloge (sjajno premazani, mat premazani i nepremazani papir) sa dva elektrofotografska stroja istog proizvođača, ali sa različitim tonerom. Pritom će se njihovo kompariranje temeljiti na kolorimetrijskoj metodi koja će pokazati njihove tonske razlike. Usredotočiti ćemo se samo na one tonove koji su direktno povezani sa sastavom tonera (magenta i cijan). Rezultati pokazuju da će najbolju kolornu reprodukciju dati elektrofotografski stroj Minolta C70hc sa visokokromatičnim (HC) tonerom na sjajno premazanom papiru, a najlošiju elektrofotografski stroj Minolta C6000 sa klasičnim EA tonerom na nepremazanom mat papiru. Tiskovna podloga će značajno utjecati na reprodukciju slike pri čemu se ostvaruje razlika od ΔV = 504705.

Abstract in english: | One of the factors that affects the quality of the prints in electrophotographic printing is a variety of toner. Emulsion aggregation (EA) based toner is no longer sufficient, and there is a need to create new more vivid color polyester toner. This study will analyze prints made on three most common printing surface (glossy, matte coated and uncoated paper) with two electrophotographic machine of the same manufacturer, but with a different toners. This will include their comparisons based on the colorimetric method that will show their tonal differences. We will focus only on those tones that are directly attributable to the composition of the toner (magenta and cyan). The results show that the best color reproduction gives electrophotographic machine Minolta C70hc with highchroma (HC) toner on glossy paper, and the worst electrophotographic machine Minolta C6000 with conventional EA toner on uncoated matt paper. Printing surface will significantly affect the image reproduction while achieving the distinction of ΔV = 504705. |
