Abstract
Elektroničke knjige su elektroničke kopije knjige ili digitalne publikacije dužine knjige. U prošlom desetljeću postale su vrlo popularne i često korištene. Svakim danom sve više i više nakladnika digitalizira svoje knjige, a sve više i više uređaja su prikladni za čitanje elektroničkih knjiga. Krajem dvadesetog i početkom dvadeset i prvog stoljeća dogodile su se velike promjene u komunikaciji ljudi. Zahvaljujući izumu interneta, informacije su postale široko dostupne,što je promjenilo svako polje ljudskog života, a pogotovo obrazovanje. Jedna od najbitnijih upotreba elektroničkih knjiga je učenje. Elektroničko učenje uključuje razne vrste medija, kao što su video, zvuk, tekst, slike i animacije. Interaktivnost elektroničke knjige može povećati pozornost u učionici i rezultirati boljom izvedbom nastave. U ovom radu istražen je i analiziran proces izrade interaktivne elektroničke knjige. Proces uključuje korištenje popularnih Adobeovih programa: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate i Edge Animate, ali i Appleov iBooks Author. Glavni cilj ovog rada je stvoriti interaktivnu elektroničku knjigu, opisati proces stvaranja i istaknuti prednosti i mane različitih dostupnih tehnologija. Kao primjer je napravljena elektronička knjiga koja sadrži izabrana poglavlja iz srednjoškolskog udžbenika fizike. Originalna knjiga obogaćena je slikama, videima, upitnicima i interaktivnim animacijama kako bi se ilustrirale mogućnosti ovog medija.

Abstract in english: | Electronic books are electronic copy of a book or a book-length digital publication. In the past decade they have become very popular and widely used. Each day more and more publishers digitalize their textbooks and more and more devices are suitable for reading of the electronic books. Huge changes in human communication happened in the late 20th and early 21st century. Due to invention of Internet, information became widely available which changed every segment of human life, especially education. One of the most important applications of electronic books is electronic learning. Electronic learning includes various types of media, such as video, audio, text, images and animations. Interactivity of an electronic book can increase the attention in the classroom and result with better educational performance. In this work the process of creation of an interactive electronic book is researched and analyzed. The process includes use of popular Adobe software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate and Edge Animate, but also Apple’s iBooks Author. Main goal of this work is to create an interactive electronic book, describe the process and identify advantages and disadvantages of the different available techniques. An e-book containing some chapters from a high school book of physics is developed as a case of study. Original book is enriched with pictures, videos, quizzes and interactive animations in order to illustrate the possibilities of the medium. |
