Abstract

Abstract in english: | Structure of graduate work is divided in two parts: first one is theoretical, and the second one is experimental. The very begining of theoretical part is based on the foundations of counterfeiting which resulted in increased development of security features and the whole product security sector in general. Process of making security products is long and complex. Each one of those products contains a lot of informations. Security elements can contain visible and hidden security features. Each one of them is explained in details and accompanied with a variety of examples and images for better understanding of written content. The second part, experimental part, is based on experimental testing of reproducing microelements. In this case those elements are microelements, rosettes and microlines printed in two digital printing techniques: electrophotography and inkjet. Those techniques have been taken because of the fact that 60% of counterfeits are made in digital printing. The point of the research is to determine which is the lower limit of microelements that can be reproduced on such printing techniques and make their comparison when it comes to the printing process and the obtained results. |
