Abstract

Responsive Web Design (RWD) je pristup koji podrazumijeva dizajn i programiranje web stranice na način da odgovara korištenju i okruženju s obzirom na dimenzije ekrana, platformu i orijentaciju ekrana. Responsive Web Design obuhvaća fleksibilne mreže i raspored, fleksibilne slike i inteligentno korištenje CSS media queries kako bi se to postiglo. Web stranica kreirana na takav način trebala bi imati mogućnost da se automatski prilagodi korisnikovim zahtjevima. To eliminira potrebu za različitim dizajnom i programiranjem za svaki novi uređaj na tržištu. Društvene mreže su postale značajan način komuniciranja suvremenog čovjeka, jer omogućuju komunikaciju i povezivanje s velikim brojem ljudi putem multimedije. Pojedine stranice nude isti sadržaj bez obzira na uređaj s kojeg im se pristupa, a neke omogućuju reduciranu količinu informacija ako im se pristupa s osobnog računala odnosno mobilnog uređaja, smartphone-a. U ovom radu projektira se multimedijalni sadržaj na društvenoj mreži s korištenjem RWD pristupa gdje će razlika u ponuđenom sadržaju na različitim uređajima biti svedena na minimum. Iznesene su nove smjernice za unaprjeđenje dizajna bez remećenja intuitivnosti i preglednosti multimedijalnih sadržaja.

Abstract in english:	Responsive Web Design (RWD) is an approach that suggests that the design and programming of a website should respond to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and screen orientation. Responsive Web Design offers of a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and an intelligent use of CSS media queries to achieve this. A responsive website should therefore have the ability to automatically respond to the user’s preferences. This would eliminate the need for a different design and development phase for each new gadget on the market. Social networking has become one of the most important parts of modern life as it enables communication with a large number of people using multimedia. Some websites offer the same features when accessed from different devices and some of them have a reduced amount of features when accessed from PC or mobile device. This master thesis designs multimedia content on social networking websites using RWD in order to reduce the difference in the available content on different devices to a minimum. New guidelines are set out for improving the design without disturbing the intuitiveness and comprehensibility of multimedia content.
