Abstract
Reprodukcija boja ima važnu ulogu u grafičkom procesu. Korištenje sustava za upravljanje bojama (color management) ima ulogu komunikacije između različitih uređaja u procesu grafičke reprodukcije. Monitori, na kojima se obično obrađuje digitalna slika ili tekst, rade u drugačijim prostorima boja od tiskarskih strojeva na kojima se slika ispisuje. Stoga je nužna transformacija boje iz jednog prostora boja u drugi, ali pri tome postoji mogućnost loše reprodukcije, odnosno promijenjenih karakteristika boje. Drugi problem je što uređaji imaju različite opsege boja koje mogu reproducirati (gamute) pa se neke informacije o boji mogu u potpunosti izgubiti, ako izlaze iz gamuta drugog uređaja, primjerice. U toku grafičke pripreme pravilnim odabirom postavki može se predvidjeti te smanjiti ili ukloniti greške koje bi se mogle pojaviti u toku tiska. U ovom završnom radu obradile su se slike korištenjem tri različita prostora boja: RGB, CMYK i LAB. Nakon otiskivanja na ink – jet printeru napravljena su spektrofotometrijska mjerenja otisaka. Cilj je bio utvrđivanje kvalitete reprodukcije temeljene na različitoj pripremi.

Abstract in english: | Color reproduction is one of the key elements in printing process. Color Management software is used for communication between different devices in process of color reproduction. Computers display an original or edited photograph in specific color space different from color spaces used in printers. Because of the difference, transformation of color from one color space to another is a necessity, but there is a possibility of unwanted effects such as changed characteristics of colors. Another issue is different color ranges, so called gammuts, across devices, so one color can be within gammut of one device, but out of gammut of another – which can cause loosy color information. In the process of preprinting we can control, foresee or even avoid possible errors in printing process, by using the right settings. In this study three photos were edited using three different color spaces: RGB, CMYK and LAB. After printing on an ink – jet printer, samples were measured with spectrophotometer to conduct quality of reproduction based on different prepress. |
