Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu je iznesena povijest kazališnog plakata, i plakata općenito, proučeno je sve ono što definira kazališni plakat i njegova obilježja, s posebnim naglaskom na plakate u kojima je ilustracija glavni vizualni element. Pokazni su najbolji primjeri takvih plakata iz svijeta i Hrvatske, te sve ono što se u svijetu događa vezano za ovo područje grafičkog dizajna, od značajnih imena, kazališta te nagrada. I istraživanje ovog rada posvećeno je proučavanju ilustracije na kazališnom plakatu te njenim mogućnostima kada se želi oblikovati određene aspekte koji čine neko kazališno djelo, kao što su radnja, likovi, žanr i sl., u prikladnu vizualnu poruku.

Abstract in english:	In this thesis is presented the history of the theater posters, and posters in general, it has analyzed everything that defines the theatrical poster and its characteristics, with special emphasis on the posters in which is illustration the main visual element. Also, it indicating the best examples of such posters in the world and in Croatia, and everything that happens in the world in relation to this area of graphic design, of the significant names, theaters and awards. The study of this work is devoted to the study of the illustrations on the theatrical poster and its capabilities when it wants to shape certain aspects that makes a theatrical work, such as action, characters, genre, etc., in an appropriate visual message.
