Abstract

U eksperimentalnom dijelu izrađena su tri motiva, jedan izrađen isključivo pomoću linija, drugi pomoću ploha i treći u kombinaciji linije i plohe.

Abstract in english: Screen printing is considered one of the oldest printing techniques, although only at the beginning of the 20th century people were realizing all the benefits and features of this printing technique. The theoretical part of thesis briefly describes the history of the techniques, from the first application of the techniques, methods and materials required for the production of printing forms, as well as technological advances and future of screen printing. Three motives are used for the experimental part, one made exclusively with lines, others with surface and the third is combined with lines and surfaces. For each of these three motifs are used three screen printing forms, but with different line screen mesh. This will determine which line screen mesh is best suited for a specific motive. Also, for each motif were used certain phosphorescent or fluorescent colors: for line motif blue phosphorescent color, for surface motif yellow-green phosphorescent color, and for a combination of surfaces and lines red fluorescent color. Once the forms were properly prepared it was continued with reproduction process. Motives were first reproduced on paper, and after measurements and visual assessment determined which printing form (depending on the line screens mesh), got the best reproduction for a particular motive. Then the best reproduced motifs were reproduced on textile. Because of the paints used in reproduction process motifs have a special and effective impression on the viewer.
