Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu se istražuje plesna fotografija i način na koji prikazuje plesni pokret i plesača. U eksperimentalnom dijelu provedeno je istraživanje pomoću ankete na 42 ispitanika (21 žene i 21 muškarca standardne populacije). Snimljene su fotografije plesne izvedbe i studijske plesne fotografije te su ispitanici uspoređivali po dvije fotografije (po jednu studijsku i jednu izvedbenu) i birali koja od tih fotografija bolje prikazuje pokret, emocije, atmosferu, koju bi izabrali za promociju plesne predstave, te koja im se više sviđa (ukupni dojam). Iako je na studijskim fotografijama rekonstruiran trenutak snimljen na fotografijama plesne izvedbe, rezultati ankete pokazali su kako su izvedbene fotografije ipak bolje u prikazivanju plesnog pokreta i emocije plesača, te kako su bolji izbor za promociju same plesne predstave. Rezultati ovog istraživanja mogu se primijeniti u području promocije plesnih predstava, te daljnjeg istraživanja odnosa studijske i izvedbene plesne fotografije.

Abstract in english:	This master thesis is a study of the dance photography and the way it presents dance movement and a dancer. Research has been done in experimental part through survey on 42 examinees (21 women and 21 men). Photographs of dance performance and studio photographs have been shot, and examinees had to compare two photographs (one of a dance performance and one from studio) and choose which of these photos best presents dance movement, dancer's emotion, atmosphere, which one would they choose for a promotion of a dance performance and which one they like the most. Although studio photos reconstructed the moment captured on performance photographs, the results showed that performance photos better present dance movement and dancer’s emotions, and are better choice for promotion of the dance performance.
