Abstract

Abstract in english: | Robots are increasingly being introduced in the process of production in factories of all activities, and thus increasingly in graphic companies, factories and printing houses. Lower prices of industrial robots allows manufacturers to use them increasingly instead of factory workers during the next decade, thus reducing labor costs. That means that demand for skilled workers who are able to manage such a complex and automated production will increase. The objective of this paper is to explore the economic feasibility of the introduction of robots in the production process on the example of the company Model Packaging Inc. The company produces a wide range of corrugated cardboard, which is equipped with a highly efficient production machines, and is one of the leading manufacturers in Croatia in terms of quality, reliability and innovation. Working documents from the company, before and after the introduction of robots and new machine Miniline Martin FFG 618, will be necessary for the final analysis and conclusions. They will show influence of the new machine robot on the production process. The final goal of this work will reach a conclusion about the viability of manufacturing robots. |
