Abstract
Prvi dio diplomskog rada opisuje razvoj ulične fotografije: odakle vuče korijene, prethodnici koji su utjecali na njeno oblikovanje, kada se ustalila kao samostalni pojam, tehnološki napredak koji je utjecao na razvoj ulične fotografije. Analizira se rad glavnih predstavnika (Cartier-Bressona, Brassaia, Roberta Doisneaua, Roberta Franka i Garrya Winogranda) i njihov utjecaj na daljnji razvoj ulične fotografije. Dalje se u radu opisuju motivi i metode koje se koriste prilikom snimanja uličnih fotografija. Uspoređuje se ulična i dokumentarna fotografija, poneke sličnosti, ali primarno njihove razlike. U praktičnom dijelu rada je predstavljen portfolio uličnih fotografija, tehničke karakteristike fotografija i korištena oprema. Analiza fotografija iz portfolia prati karakteristike ulične fotografije, poteškoće do kojih dolazi prilikom snimanja, čimbenike koji nam mogu olakšati snimanje, te način na koji je dobivena fotografija.

Abstract in english: | The first part of thesis describes the development of street photography: its roots, predecessors who influenced on its shaping, when it was established as a stand-alone concept, the technological advances that influenced on development of street photography. It analyzes the operation of the main representatives (Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, Robert Doisneau, Robert Frank and Garry Winogrand) and their impact on the further development of street photography. Further, the paper describes the motives and methods used when shooting street photography. The thesis compares the street and documentary photography, several similarities, but primarily their differences. The practical part of thesis is a portfolio of street photos, photos specifications and used equipment. Analysis of photographs from the portfolio follows characteristics of street photography, the difficulties arising during the shooting, the factors that can help in shooting, and the manner in which the photo was taken. |
