Abstract

Abstract in english: | Color is one of the most important elements of packaging. Manufacturers are trying to paint their packaging so that it immediately catches the eye of consumers and differentiates it from the other products. Therefore, when designers launch new products, they do not choose the color random, they choose it with the intention to convey a specified message to customers on the product itself. It is known that colors have a very important role in our lives because it directly affects our mood and atmosphere. Over time the consumer starts to connect a specific color with a given product. On the basis of the most recognizable brands Coca-Cola, Cedevita, Milka and Vegeta a survey was conducted to find out in what way the colour of packaging can be a brand protection. Each of the selected products were conducted with technological and visual measurements so final results will give credible results. In the press process it is important to spend quality print at all stages of production. It is easier to control and enlarge the quality of press with knowledge of latest methods. One of the main characteristics of print are spectral definition of color printing apropos CIELab values and density of tints. For a basic example of the color of Coca-Cola, Cedevita, Milka and Vegeta was used and printed the most similar color pattern on kunstdruck paper, grammage 135g / m2. With adding and subtracting the L * a * b * color values in the basic pattern it was obtained another 24 patterns of colors that were used for the survey. On the basic and the most selected patterns in survey it was calculated overall difference between that colours as a value ΔE. Packaging printing, apropos their colour depends of surface on which is pressed. At the end of the survey, it is presented conclusions about the role of color as packaging protection. |
