Abstract

Abstract in english: | Black-white photography has never died out; technique of photographic expression is still present despite the development of the technology. Subconsciously it is easier to accept black and white photos as artistic photography, while in colour it represents the world as we roughly see it, and it can be seen as documentary photography. When shooting black-white photos with digital equipment, we particularly have to remember the basic things that apply for the classic photos, and which will greatly enable our final photo in meeting some basic quality criteria. Today, in the digital age, colour photographs are subsequently converted into black-white photographs using software methods on a computer. This ensures that the photographs leave a totally different impression, whereas shapes and composition are emphasized instead of colour. This thesis deals with the landscapes shot by digital camera. We have described technical elements that need to be taken into account when taking a successful photo of landscape. When creating landscape photos basic pieces of equipment include the camera body, proper lens and a tripod. The most important is the tripod which fixes the camera and allows for the details in the photograph to be clean and sharp. There is an attempt to explore how to reach satisfactory results in the conversion of landscape photographs in colour into landscape black-white photographs and the ways this can be achieved. Author’s landscape photos will be taken which will then serve as examples. |
