Abstract

Socijalna fotografija najčešće oslikava socijalno stanje pojedinca ili grupe ljudi. Mnogi ljudi percepiraju takvu vrstu fotografije sramotnom i diskriminirajućom, jer se prikazuju ljudi u siromašnim ţivotnim i radnim sredinama. Njen smisao je da izazove suosjećanje kod promatrača. Ovaj završni rad temelji se na proučavanju utjecaja socijalne fotografije na ispitanike putem ankete i je li taj utjecaj jači ako su fotografije uraĎene u crno-bijeloj tehnici, kod koje umjesto boja u prvi plan ulaze oblici i kompozicija. Fotografije u radu su autorske i snimljene su na području grada Zagreba. U radu su spomenuti istaknuti fotografi koji su se bavili područjem fotografije socijalne tematike te koju su poruku prenosili u društvu tim fotografijama.

Abstract in english:	Social photography most often reflects social status of the individual person or the group.Many people find this kind of photography discriminating and shameful, because photos show people in their poor work and life conditions. The purpose of this photography is to provoke compassion at the side of observer. This final work is based on study of the influence of social photography on respondents through survey testing if the influence of photos is stronger when photos are done in black-white technic,where shape and composition are more in focus then colours.Photos in this work are all author, taken in the area of city of Zagreb. Some exceptional photographers from this field of photography are mentioned in this work, known for transmitting messages to society with their photos.
