Abstract
Ona treba privući pažnju i zadržati interes čitatelja.

Abstract in english: | Whiteness, text and headline are one of the most important parts of the newspaper design next to photography. The job of photography is to make text comprehensible and therefore more acceptable for reading. The fact is that photography decorates the page in some ways, but it is certainly not only its decoration. Photography must provide additional information to the news, but the goal is that photography itself is information. It is considered that the best photography is the one that doesn’t need any text next to it. Photography should be informative and interesting, it should awake emotions in the observer that plain text alone can’t. It should attract attention and keep the reader interested. On the other side, photography is a way of looking at the situation through the eyes of the photojournalist and the editor who are able to represent the photo in the way that they want and affect the reader without his knowledge in the direction they want. First of all, photography is quick and trustworthy information intended for a wide reading public. A case study of this final assignment aims to determine if and how is being manipulated by the choice and graphic design in representation of Oluja on 5 August 2016, and how the photographic representation of this event reflects the editorial policy of a particular press house. |
