Abstract
Slikovnica je umjetnički izraz autora, likovnog umjetnika ilustratora, a ilustracija osebujna likovna disciplina. Iako se slikovnice i ilustrirane knjige najčešće stvaraju za djecu, dobnih granica nema, u njima jednako mogu uživati i odrasli. Slikovnica je najčešće prva knjiga s kojom se dijete susreće. Može biti bez teksta ili sa tekstom i ilustracijama, različitih pravilnih i nepravilnih oblika te također od različitih materijala. Dobra slikovnica ocjenjuje se prema kvaliteti teksta i ilustracija ili prema njihovoj međusobnoj usklađenosti. Prvi dio rada baziran je na definiciji slikovnice i objašnjenju njezinih elemenata. Bit će objašnjeno koje su to funkcije slikovnica, vrste slikovnica, tipografija, tehnike oblikovanja slikovnice te kako se one razlikuju kako dijete stari. Praktični dio rada se odnosi se na kreativno autorsko oblikovanje edukativne slikovnice i objašnjenje procesa oblikovanja. Slikovnica će na zabavan način učiti djecu o važnosti očuvanja okoliša, a bit će namijenjena djeci predškolske dobi.

Abstract in english: | A picture book is an artistic expression of the author, the artist illustrator, and illustrations are distinctive artistic disciplines. Although picture books and illustrated books are usually created for children,there are no age limits, therefore children and adults can equally enjoy in them. A picture book is usually the first book a child meets. It may be with no text at all or with texts and illustrations of various regular and irregular shapes and also of different materials. A good picture book is evaluated according to the quality of the text and illustrations, or according to their mutual compatibility. The first part of the work is based on the definition of a picture book and an explanation of its elements. It will be explained which are the functions of picture books ,the types of picture books , typography, design techniques and how they differ as a child is getting older. The practical part of the work is related to the author's creative design of the educational picture books and the explanation of the process of design. The picture book will teach children about the importance of preserving the environment in a funny way and it will be designed for preschool children. |
