Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je analizirati rad i djelo fotografkinje Slavke Pavić kroz tehničke i sintaktičko- semantičke aspekte. Slavka Pavić i Milan Pavić najjači su fotografski par u povijesti hrvatske fotografije. Dok je rad Milana Pavića dosta proučen i poznatiji široj javnosti, rad Slavke Pavić je ostao skoro pa nepoznat. Slavka Pavić vještinu crno-bijele fotografije svladala je uz poduku profesionalnog fotografa i supruga Milana Pavića. Ona je jedna od najvažnijih i najznačajnijih fotografkinja, druge polovine 20. stoljeća, ako ne i cijelog 20. stoljeća. Ljudi žele sve nekako kategorizirati pa tako i djelo Slavke Pavić, što kako i ona sama kaže, nije jednostavno i ona ga ne bi podijelila na nekakve posebne tematike kojima je bila okupirana i koje je fotografirala te ne postoji isključivo jedna metoda snimanja istih. Ljudi žive u trenutku, što nam život i na koji način pruži to i zabilježimo, na takav način koji nam se u taj tren čini prikladnim, zanimljivim i dostupnim, kaže Slavka Pavić. Tu se nalaze i fotografije zagorskih krajolika, kamenih struktura, portreti, oblaci i mnoge druge. Geometrizam se nalazi u podlozi njenih antologijskih fotografija poput: U prolazu (1951.), Kompozicija (1956.), Konjanici (1969.), Šetači (1959.) i td. Velik dio njene tematike i motivike podudara se s temama i motivima fotografije njezina supruga, Milana Pavića.

Abstract in english: The aim of this paper is to analyse work and art of photographer Slavka Pavić through technical and sintactic-semantic aspects. Slavka Pavić and Milan Pavić are the strongest photography couple in the history of croatian photography. While Milan Pavić's art is well studied and well known in public, art of Slavka Pavić is almost unknown. The skill of black/white photogaphy Slavka Pavić perfected next to her husband and professional photoghrapher Milan Pavić. She is one of the most important and most significant female photographer of the second half of the 20th century, maybe even during the whole 20th century. As we are trying to categorize everything, to categorize her work and art is not that simple. She even says that she wouldn't divide her work into the special themes and even methods of taking photography. We live in a moment, in a way life gives us, we capture it in the way we consider it interesting, appropriate and available at the moment, Slavka Pavić emphasizes. We can find photographies of Zagorje nature, stone structures, portrets, clouds and many others. Geometrism can be found in the background of her anthological photographies such as: U prolazu (1951.), Kompozicija (1956.), Konjanici (1969.), Šetači (1959.), etc. Big part of her themathics and motives in the photography are the same as her husband's, Milan Pavić.
