Abstract

Ovaj rad se bavi tehnikama koje bi rezultirale vizualno realističnijim proizvodom u području 3D modeliranja i animacije. Adekvatna vrsta i položaj izvora svjetlosti u 3D prostoru te sama interakcija svjetlosti na teksturiranom modelu su ključni ako želimo dobiti realističan rezultat. Proučava se kako se model i tekstura mogu naknadno obraditi kako bi manipulirali rezultatima njihove interakcije sa svjetlosti. Nekadašnje tehnike izmjene teksturiranog modela su bile vrlo kompleksne i dugotrajne. Danas je moguće vrlo jednostavno i brzo dobiti mnogo realističniji proizvod koristeći se nekim novim tehnikama koje su uvedene u programe za 3D modeliranje i animaciju.Cilj istraživanja je dobiti kvalitetniji rezultat u kratkom vremenskom roku koristeći upravo te navedene tehnike. Sve je testirano u programu za 3D modeliranje pod nazivom Blender, koji je potpuno besplatan, stoga najčešći izbor amatera, no u rukama stručnjaka daje vrhunske rezultate. Također se koristi program za obradu slika Adobe Photoshop i program za obradu tekstura pod nazivom Crazybump.

Abstract in english: This study deals with tehniques which would result in a visually more realistic product in the field of 3D modeling and animation. Adequate type and position of a light source in 3D space and the very interaction of light on a textured model are the key factors in getting the realistic result. Subsequent processing of the model and the texture is studied in a goal to manipulate the results of their interaction with light. Older techniques which were used were very complex and time consuming. In the present it is very simple and fast to achieve a realistic product by using some new techniques which were implemented into 3D modeling and animation software. The goal is achieving high grade product in a short period of time using exactly those techniques. Everything is tested in a 3D modeling software called “Blender”, which is completely free, making it a common choice between amateurs, but provides excellent results in the hands of an expert. Image processing software Adobe Photoshop and texture processing software Crazybump were also used to some extent.
