Abstract

Već su nekoliko desetljeća tradicionalni masovni mediji dominirali u svijetu medija. Međutim, dolazi do znatnijih promjena u načinu na koji pojedinci ispunjavaju svoje informacijske potrebe. Internet je jedan od popularnijih medija koji uzrokuje te promjene i na taj način sve više potiskuje tradicionalne medije (tisak, televiziju, radio). Uopće više nije novost u životu i profesionalnom radu mnogih njegovih korisnika, kao ni onih koji se bave npr. grafičkom strukom, novinarstvom i srodnim zanimanjima. Grafička industrija i tisak kao tradicionalni medij konstantno se nalaze u vrtlogu promjenu upravo zbog razvoja novih medija, a prvenstveno interneta. U nekim je situacijama kompleksan medij u odnosu na tradicionalne, ali je istovremeno izvor informacija za mnoge istraživačke projekte. Naglašava se interaktivnost interneta kao medija, kao i njegovi prednosti i nedostatci koje će u budućnosti on kao takav imati nad tiskom (novinama i časopisima), radijom i televizijom. Posljednjih godina pokazuje izuzetnu brzinu rasta, koja omogućuje emuliranje / simuliranje različitih masovnih medija. U svrhu pisanja ovog diplomskog rada i obrade teme osnovni plan je prvo prikupiti i selekcionirati potrebnu literaturu. Stoga će u prikupljenim materijalima biti prikazan njegov utjecaj na tisak, televiziju i radio. Biti će prikazana korisnost tradicionalnih medija, te korisnost istih pod utjecajem interneta kao medija. Najvjerniji prikaz stvarne situacije dobit će se upravo pomoću ankete, stoga će u eksperimentalnom dijelu rada biti predstavljene informacije koje se temelje na rezultatima ispitanika koji koriste, odnosno ne koriste novine i časopise, televiziju i radio. Rezultati dobiveni u radu biti će povezani s prijašnjim rezultatima srodnih istraživanja što će prikazati prednosti i nedostatke interneta u odnosu na tradicionalne medije.

Abstract in english: For several decades, the traditional mass media was dominating in the world of media. However, there is a significant change in the way individuals meet their information needs. Internet is one of the most popular media that caused these changes and thus is increasingly replacing traditional media (print, television, radio). Internet is no novelty in the professional work of many of its users, as well as those in graphical professions, jour-nalism and related professions. Graphical and printing industries as traditional media are constantly in the vortex of change because of the new media, primarily the Internet. In some situations, it can seem as a complex media in comparison to traditional ones, but at the same time, it is a source of information for many research projects. Emphasized is the interactivity of the Internet as a medium, as well as its advantages and disadvantages, which it will have in the future over the print (newspapers and magazines), radio and television. In recent years, it showed a remarkable growth rate, which allows emulation / simulation of various mass media. For the purpose of writing this thesis work, the basic plan is to collect and select the required literature. Further, the collected materials will be used to show the Internet's impact on print, television and radio. The usefulness of traditional media will be shown, as well as its usefulness under the influence of the Internet. The most credible represen-tation of the actual situation will be given through a survey. The experimental part of the work will be used to present information collected based on the results of respondents who use or do not use newspapers and magazines, television and radio. The results ob-tained in the work will be linked to previous results from related researches that will allow us to show the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet over traditional media.
