Abstract

Abstract in english: Photography is the science, art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. The forerunner of photography is the camera obscura that were used by landscape and portrait painters until the nineteenth century. Monochrome photography is photography where the image produced has a single hue, rather than recording the colors of the object that was photographed. It includes all forms of black-and-white photography, which produce images containing tones of grey ranging from black to white. Color photography uses media that can reproduce colors. Until modern age, black and white photo was used almost exclusively for artistic purposes, while in the past color photos did not exist. Digital manipulation techniques offer the possibility of adding color to images that were taken in black and white. Adobe Photoshop is the best known computer program for processing photos and has the tools and features of photo manipulation, transfering color photos in black and white photographs, or the opposite, a black and white photo in the colored photo. Second option requires more experience, time and attention in order to achieve the desired effect, which is to leave the impression that the photo was taken in color technique. In the practical part original and author photographs are colorized from black and white photos.
