Abstract
Ţivimo u vremenu slika, riječi polako zastarijevaju, a slike i vizualno postaju naš glavni način izraţavanja. Ne kaţe se uzalud da fotografija govori jezikom koji svi razumiju, a taj jezik samo u jednoj fotografiji govori više od tisuću riječi. Fotografija je s dizajnerskog gledišta uobličena u pomalo apstraktan oblik. Dizajnerski aspekt poruke temeljen je na iskoristivosti kontekstualnog segmenta fotografije kao vizualnog izraţaja. U rukama dizajnera fotografija dobiva zadatak pojačavanja vizualne poruke namijenjene potrošaču ili promatraču. Onaj dio kojeg izraĎuje sam dizajner komplementira fotografiju, dok fotografija u isto vrijeme komplementira i poruku. Tijekom dvadestog stoljeća vizualna komunikacija se rapidno razvijala pa je fotografija predstavljala integralni dio većine profesionalnog propagandnog materijala. Ovaj diplomski rad prikazuje spoj fotografije, reklame i grafičkog dizajna kao savršene cjeline koja ima moć djelovati svugdje i na svakoga.

Abstract in english: | We live in the time of pictures, words are slowly becoming outdated, and pictures are visually becoming our main way of expression. It is not said in vain that photography speaks a language that everyone understands, and that language says more than a thousand words in just one photograph. From the design point of view, the photograph is shaped in a somewhat abstract form. The design aspect of a message is based on the usability of the contextual segment of the photograph as a visual expression. In the hands of a designer, a photograph gets a task of enhancing a visual message intended for a consumer or observer. The part made by a designer complements the photograph, while at the same time the photograph is complementing the message. During the twentieth century visual communication was developing rapidly, so photographs were an integral part of the majority of professional propaganda material. This diploma thesispresents a compound of photography, advertisment and graphic design as a perfect unity that has the power to influence everywhere and everyone. |
