Abstract

Abstract in english: | The goal of this thesis is to show better user experience through various types of micro animations. Together with gestures, they make the experience seem more natural and facilitate browsing for users. According to their requirements, page functionalities were designed which were tested in this work with selected methods. The created micro animations facilitated the page navigation, whether by indicating an entry issue, orienting visually, explaining the relation among elements or as part of “decoration. The methods used were A/B testing, user communication prototype testing. Micro animations were created with CanvasFlip, Flinto, Principle and Sketch. The testing was conducted on a sample of 10 persons corresponding to personas created. Collected data confirm that micro animations facilitate the use of web applications on mobile devices. Since they are used more on mobile phones, basic gestures have become part of users’ everyday life. The number of hours users spend on mobile phones is much higher than the hours spent on computers, therefore, they would like to have more websites which follow this way of communication. |
