Abstract

U diplomskom radu prikazat će se postupak izrade internetske stranice čija je svrha iznajmljivanje i pretraživanje dostupnih brodova. Kako bi se taj postupak olakšao, pri izradi web sjedišta u fokusu će biti korisnik te njegovo iskustvo. Postupak se sastoji od analize konkurencije, ispitivanja korisnika, testiranja prototipa te krajnjeg proizvoda, tj. internetske stranice. Poboljšanom korisničkom iskustvu pridonosi izbor paleta boja, veličina i oblik gumba koji pozivaju na akciju (engl. button), količina informacija, izrada i vizualno osmišljavanje formi te dizajniranje filtera, odnosno tražilice. Cilj ovog rada je istaknuti primarne funkcionalnosti te ih unaprijediti u odnosu na konkurenciju. Internetska stranica omogućava prezentaciju teksta, prikazuje multimedijske elemente kao što su slike u digitalnom obliku. Slike su važan element stranice za pretraživanje brodova, te se prikazuju na jedinstven način. Definiraju se mjesta gdje i kako će se slike prikazivati. Eksperimentalni dio se izvodi uz pomoć sustava za upravljanje sadržajem - Joomla. Joomla je CMS (engl. contentmanagementsystem) platforma otvorenog tipa (engl. opensource). CMS podrazumijeva sustav koji omogućuje direktno upravljanje sadržajem. Pri izradi koristit će se predložak kako bi dizajn bio konzistentan kroz cijelo web sjedište.

Abstract in english:	In this thesis,we will explain the process of making a webpage that allows the user to browse and rent available yachts. To simplify that process, during the development of the webpage focus was on the user and user experience. The process is divided in several stages: competition analysis, user testing, prototype testing and product testing (website). User experience is affected by color scheme choice, the size and color of the call to action button, the amount of information, visual style of forms that make the webpage and the design of the search engine. The purpose of this thesis is to highlight the main functions and to make them better in comparison to the competition. Website format allows the presentation of text and can contain multimedia elements such as digital photographs. Since photographs are such an important element of a webpage that revolves around yacht rentals, they are presented in a unique way. Placement and the style for the photographs is predetermined. The practical part of the thesis is done using content management system – Joomla. Joomla is an open source content management system and as such it supports the creation and modification of digital content. During the development, a template was used to insure the consistency of design through the whole webpage.
