Abstract

Slika u današnje doba, bilo kao fotografija ili crteţ, ima značajnu ulogu jer predstavlja i prenosi odreĎenu poruku. Kod istinitog prikaza lika čovjeka portretna je fotografija u prednosti nad slikarskom tehnikom. MeĎutim, u svrhu stvaranja novih i zanimljivih dizajnerskih rješenja, fotografija se fotomanipulacijom moţe kombinirati sa ilustracijom. U diplomskom se radu obuhvaćaju pojmovi vezani uz fotografiju portreta, od odgovarajućih postavki fotoaparata do termina vezanih uz postupak digitalne obrade fotografija. Analizira se i portret u crtačkim tehnikama te se proučavaju primjeri kombinacija fotografija i ilustracija. Slikano je 10 autorskih fotografija portreta te su isti nacrtani digitalnom tehnikom ilustriranja. Konačno, fotografija i ilustracija kombinirane su u krajnje umjetničko rješenje. UsporeĎivan je karakter radova, uloţeno vrijeme te potrebno znanje i vještine za dobivene rezultate. Provedena je anketa o autorskim radovima kako bi se ustanovilo objektivno mišljenje potencijalne publike. Cilj je diplomskog rada usporediti karakter portreta kao umjetničkog djela na fotografiji i na ilustraciji te kao spoj navedenog , zaključiti što je isplatljivije, što i kako okolina prihvaća te u koje bi se sve svrhe fotomanipulacije fotografije i ilustracije mogle koristiti.

Abstract in english:	An image nowadays, whether it is a photo or a drawing, plays a significant role as it represents and transmits a specific message.When it comes to a true image of a man's portrait, portrait photography is in favour of painting technique. However, in order to create new and interesting design solutions, a photography can be photomanipulated and combined with an illustration.The thesis work includes concepts related to portrait photography, from the appropriate camera settings to the procedures associated with the digital photo editing process. Also, we have analyzed the portrait in the drawing techniques and studied the examples of combination of photographs and illustrations.10 portrait photographs have been taken and the same are illustrated by the digital illustration technique. Finally, photographs and illustrations are combined in ultimate artwork. For the end results we have compared and taken into account the character of the work, time spent in the process and required knowledge and skills.The survey of the authored work was conducted in order to establish an objective opinion of the potential audience.The aim of the master thesis is to compare the character of the portrait as an art work on photography, as an art work on illustration and as the combination of both. Also, the aim was to conclude what is more profitable, what and how do people accept, and what are the purposes of photography photomanipulation that can be used.
