Abstract
Navedena kvaliteta naročito se očituje u reprodukciji malih i velikih rastertonskih vrijednosti, kada zbog različitih reprodukcijskih ograničenja dolazi do lošije reprodukcije tih istih elemenata.

Abstract in english: | Market competition, increasing customer demands and technology progress urge printers to keep up with trends and switch from conventional printing techniques to new, highquality printing technologies. Waterless offset printing as one of these techniques was introduced in the 1980s as a convenient alternative to conventional offset printing and flexo printing in a better, simpler and faster printing performance. The absence of the dampening solution in the printing process increases the sharpness of the printed raster elements, enables cleaner colours, a faster start of printing process and minimizes the waste. This is especially important for self-adhesive wine labels, as they are printed on a variety of substrates, from rough to smooth and glossy substrates. Furthermore, the demand for quality printing of tiny details and larger full surfaces, spot and metallic colours increases, so the aim of this master thesis is to explain and compare the quality of labels printed by means of conventional and waterless offset. The quality is clearly manifested in the reproduction of small and large halftone values, when, due to various reproduction limits, the reproduction of these elements is of poorer quality. |
