Abstract
Trend eksplozivnog rasta industrije video igara započeo je oko 2013. godine, a gazi naprijed iz godine u godinu uz sve veće profite. Kako se tom pozitivnom rastu tako skoro ne nazire kraj, posebno je je zanimljiv dio grafičke industrije koji se bavi izradom video igara. Za izradu video igara po današnjim standardima potrebno je upotrijebiti svu moć dostupnih alata i usluga koje nude sustavi za izradu igara koji se nazivaju razvojna okruženja. U ovom radu biti će opisan proces izrade različitih 3D modela u programu Blender, te izvoz istih u razvojno okruženje Unity, u kojem će u konačnici krojiti vizualno okruženje videoigre. Posebnu pozornost pridodati će se izradi mapa za teksture u Adobe Photoshopu, materijalima, svjetlosti te odnosu veličina zbog dodatne realnosti te geometriji samih modela. Postupak izrade biti će detaljnije opisan u samom radu, no primijeniti će se rad u programima koje studenti koriste od samog početka na kolegijima Grafičkog fakulteta. Na taj način zainteresirani pojedinci moći će uvidjeti postupak izrade modela ili krajolika, koje je moguće iskoristiti u projektima koji su danas u rapidnom porastu, projektima poput videoigara ili filmova.

Abstract in english: | Rapid growth of the video game industry began at the end of 2013, and is going stronger each year it passes. As the end of this fast growing trend has not nearly get till the end, this part of graphic industry is especially interesting to observe. To create video games that match today’s standards of quality it is necessary get advantage of every service and tool available. Systems that are providing this kind of services and tools are called game engines. In this work, process of creating various 3D models in Blender will be described, as well as export to Unity, where it will create final 3D environment for video game. Special attention will be put on creating texture maps in Adobe Photoshop, creating materials, lighting and sizes in favor of more realistic look. The process of creation solely will be explained in great detail later in this work, but along whole process, software of choice will be familiar to students of Faculty of Graphic Arts. That way, individuals can get a wider picture about creation of model or environment and usage of it into great projects like video games or movies. |
