Abstract

Abstract in english: The main idea was to make an analysis of bookbinding products according to their technical-technological parameters. Such products were systematized within four systematization units: by way of binding, parameters of serial production, parameters of line production and comparison of these two modes of production. This gave insight into the component elements of products and this part of the research provided a better understanding and analysis of some book binding technologies. The comparison showed some similarities and differences between the two modes of production, which enabled further research. By implementing the comparison results in the hypothesis of the research, the frequency of repetition of certain parameters and technologies has been shown, and hypotheses have been confirmed or rejected. According to the results, technologies were selected to be profitable in the Republic of Croatia’s market. Products that incorporate these technologies have been collected and proposed within a one-year plan of such a system. The aforementioned results can serve as guidelines for the development of book binding infrastructure, and the paper itself for a better understanding of complex binding technologies.
