Abstract

Inkjet je jedna od tehnika digitalnog tiska. Prema načinu ispuštanja kapljica ona se dijeli na kontinuirani inkjet i inkjet baziran na kapanju na zahtjev. Prema tehnologiji izbacivanja kapljica on može biti termalni, elektrostatski ili piezo inkjet. Piezo tehnologija je danas najzastupljenija od navedenih prvenstveno zbog svoje kvalitete. Rastriranje slike je proces kojim se smanjuje broj sivih tonova ili boja na slici, a pritom se zadržava vizualna iluzija kontinuiranosti tonova. Rastriranjem se višetonska slika najčešće prevodi u jednotonsku, dakle veći broj tonova se nastoji prikazati sa samo dva tona. Rasteri se dijele na amplitudno modulirane i frekventivno modulirane. Kod amplitudno moduliranog rastera doživljaj tonaliteta se postiže tako da se pojedinačne točkice uvijek nalaze na istoj udaljenosti jedna od druge, dok se njihov promjer mijenja. U slučaju frekventno moduliranog rastera pojedinačni rasterski elementi imaju isti promjer ali su različito udaljeni jedni od drugih. Pri digitalnom tisku za izradu rasterske slike koriste se softwarei koji se zovu Raster Image Processori uz pomoć kojih se digitalna slika pretvara u bitmapu koja se obrađena šalje u uređaj na ispis.

Abstract in english: Inkjet is one of the digital printing techniques. By the the mode od releasing drops, it is divided into continuous inkjet and inkjet based on drop on demand. According to dropout technology it can be thermal, electrostatic or piezo inkjet. Nowdays Piezo technology is the most prominent of the above mentioned mostly because of its quality. Image screening is a process that reduces the number of gray tones or colors in the image while retaining the visual illusion of tone continuity. By screening the image, the multichromatic image is translated into monochrome, hence a greater number of tones are attempted to be displayed with only two tones. Raster dots are divided into Amplitude modulated and Frequency modulated. With amplitude-modulated raster, the tonal experience is made in a way that individual dots are always located at the same distance from each other while their diameter changes. In the case of a frequency modulated raster, the individual raster elements have the same diameter but are differently spaced from each other. In digital printing Raster image processing software is used for making bitmap thas is sent to the printing machine after after it was processed.
