Abstract

Abstract in english: The aim of this research was to give an overview of the existing light painting photography techniques and to show one of the ways of combining these techniques with creative purposes. In graphic design, knowledge of features and color characteristics is one of the most important items. As known and defined, color is a sensory experience that arises when light of a characteristic spectrum triggers receptors in the eye mesh. In this paper, this spectrum of light was recorded by the camera sensor during long exposure and as a result we received photos with certain motifs. Prior to the invention itself, the picture had a great significance with an illustration whose beginnings still arise in ancient Egypt when it was done on papyrus. It was just one of the main motifs to combine illustration and photography into a single entity with an unusual color-forming tool, and that was the light. The fabrication process and the errors that occurred during the shooting are described in detail to explain the workflow from the initial planning to the final result. In addition, he described the creative and technical process of making illustrations in a completely different way from the usual. As well as making the illustration, there is also described the process of using the illustration in making gif and textile printing as an example of further use. The main hypothesis of this paper was that the joining of photographic techniques of light painting and template can create a new way of illustrating certain motifs and that presenting a new technique can stimulate interest in different ways of using the already seen and common techniques.
