Abstract

Boja je psihofizički doživljaj koji ovisi o tome kako mozak reagira na reflektiranu svjetlost. U ovom radu je za eksperimentalni dio otisnut određeni broj uzoraka dva izabrana tona boje, te dva uzorka koji predstavljaju standarde tih tonova kako bi se odredile granice tolerancije promatrača na male promjene u boji. Instrumentalnim mjerenjem određena je razlika između standarda i uzoraka. Nakon toga, pod određenim vrstama rasvjete, vizualnim ocjenjivanjem uzoraka određenog broja ispitanika određivale su se granice tolerancije na kojima se uočava promjena u boji. Korištene su različite boje podloga u odnosu na koju su ispitanici morali ispitati prolaznost ili pad uzoraka. Ispitanici su prije ispitivanja bili i testirani pomoću Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue testa na sposobnost razlikovanja boja. Cilj ispitivanja je odrediti do koje vrijednosti vizualna percepcija ne razlikuje nijanse, odnosno kolika je tolerancija ljudskog oka na razlike između boja, te koliko sama podloga i vrsta rasvjete utječe na razliku u doživljaju boje.

Abstract in english: Color is a psychophysical experience that depends on how the brain responds to reflected light. For the experimental part of this paper, a number of samples of two selected color tones were printed, together with two samples that represent the standards of these tones, to determine the limits of observers' tolerance to small color changes. Instrumental measurements were used to determine the difference between the standards and the samples. After that, under certain illuminants, the visual evaluation of the samples was performed by a number of respondents to determine the tolerance limits for color change. The respondents then had to pass or fail the samples based on different colors of the substrate. The respondents' color discernment ability was tested before the examination with the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue test. The aim of the study is to determine the value of the visual perception that does not distinguish between nuances, or the tolerance of the human eye to the differences among colors and how much the background and illuminant affect the difference in the color experience.
